This project is a collaboration with designer Max Cox.
We selected a real-world space in need of visual identity: the family room at the Nationwide Children’s NICU, where I currently work. While the room includes a designated area for children, it lacked visual warmth and engagement. Our goal was to transform the space into a more welcoming, child-friendly environment that still honors and reflects the NICU experience. Together, we developed a cohesive design system that includes a logo, wall decal, wayfinding elements, and a brochure to support and guide families during their time in the unit.
